Stem Cell Genome Anatomy Project

Tips for Pathway Searching

To obtain information about a pathway from the databases from the Centers in the SCGAP consortium, enter a portion of the GenMAPP or KEGG pathway name eg. WNT. Select the species in which you are interested; either human or mouse.

Pathway searches will return gene expression information sorted by individual experiment. Gene expression values are as follows:

  • yes = information about that gene available
  • no = not found or no information about that gene
  • maybe = equivocal data

For information on how these values are assigned, please read the Steps for Determining Gene Expression.

Clicking on the “Population” link will return the experimental design information and in some cases, access to the original data files.
